Planning By Design was proud to join Treeapp, our tree planting partner, for a heartwarming and impactful Tree Planting Day at Hideaway Wood Farm near Northampton. On Tuesday, 21st January 2025, our enthusiastic team members Cara and Josh joined the Treeapp community to plant trees and enjoy a memorable experience filled with nature, alpacas, and mindfulness!

Planting Roots: 16,000 Trees and Counting!

Treeapp’s reforestation efforts extend far beyond the UK. Since its inception, the organization has planted over 5,000,000 trees worldwide across regions such as Africa, Asia, and South America. Their projects not only restore forests but also support local communities by creating employment opportunities and promoting sustainable land management.

A Day in Hideaway Wood Farm

The tree planting day began bright and early at 10:00 AM at the beautiful Hideaway Wood Farm, just a short 25-minute drive from Northampton. Our representatives, Cara and Josh, rolled up their sleeves and, along with the Treeapp team, helped plant hundreds of trees, making a lasting impact on the local environment.

But it wasn’t just about the hard work—there was plenty of fun involved too!

• Alpaca Adventures: Participants enjoyed the magical experience of wandering through frosty woods accompanied by curious alpacas.

• Mindfulness Moment: A delightful highlight was meditating alongside adorable baby alpacas—a truly unique and calming experience that Cara described as “unforgettable and heart-melting.”

  

Josh enthusiastically remarked, “Getting our hands dirty and knowing that each tree planted today represents the commitment of Planning By Design and our clients to a greener planet is incredibly rewarding. Plus, alpacas make any day better!“
