With a large and diverse team including architects, town planner, customer service advisors and office administrators working cohesively, we have the skills and experience required to assist you with all your planning and design requirements. Grant Singlehurst-Ward

Founder & Managing Director

A serial entrepreneur with background in sales and marketing, Grant is the founder and managing director. He founded Planning By Design to provide clients with the highest possible level of service at unbeatable prices.

Abigail Singlehurst-Ward

Operations Manager

Abi is responsible for overseeing the day to day running of the business. She is responsible for scheduling planning appraisals, project allocation and project management, to ensure that the whole team delivers on time as promised, every time!

Chartered Architect & Head Of Design

An ARB chartered architect with over 20 years experience, Gavin specialises in complex, large-scale developments, including luxury residential, mixed-use, and social housing projects. Gavin’s commitment to sustainability and design precision ensures that each project meets the highest standards of quality and innovation.

James Lindsey

Chartered Architect

With over 30 years of experience as a registered ARB certified chartered architect, James has a wealth of experience. Having worked on projects ranging from small householder developments to large commercial buildings in city skylines, whatever your design requirements James has you covered.

Paulina Laka

Chartered Arthitect

An accomplished ARB Chartered Archtiect with over 13 years in architectural design. Paulina excels at 2D drawings, 3D renders, interior design, building regulations drawings and BIM models. Whether residential or commercial and regardless of scale her designs always meet or exceed clients' expectations and delivery dates.

Emily Codrington

Chartered Architect

An ARB and RIBA certified chartered architect with over 20 years experience in both residential and commerical architectural design. With a strong passion for design and excellent attention to detail, she produces inspired designs that meet the client brief and give the best chance of securing planning permission, if required.

Busra Sengel

Architectural designer

A passionate architecterual designer who prides herself on producing elegant designs that meet the clients brief exactly. With a diligent work ethic, Busra takes just the right amount of time required to produce accurate scale architect drawing that meet councils' validation criteria whilst meeting her deadlines.

Berna Cebi

Architectural designer

A highly skilled architectural designer who is passionate about high quality sophisticated designs, supported by sustainable methods. A specialist in high-end large-scale residential and hospitality projects. Her skills include 2D, 3D, interior and urban design.

Ezgi Cebi

Architectural designer

A highly talented archtiectural designer with experience in all things design including 2D planning drawings, interior design and 3D renders for very large high end developments in places such as Dubai. With a great attention to detail Ezgi produces beautiful drawings that nail the cleints brief exceeding expectations ahead of time.

An experienced architectural designer who is passionate about delivering the high quality designs that meet the clients brief. Whatever your design requirement, Rosalind will help transfrom your idea into beautiful scale architect drawings that meet the councils validation criteria should you require planning permission for your development.

Chartered Town Planner & Head Of Planning

A versatile and resilient Chartered MRTPI Town Planner with private and public sector experience. Aaron has a deep understanding of the planning process as both the applicant and local planning authority. Whether small scale residential or large scale commercial developments his expertise ensures the best advice and robust planning applications.

Silas Willoughby

Chartered Town Planner

With an RTPI accredited degree in both urban design and regional planning, Silas has over 8 years experience working as a town planner. His extensive experience in the private sector including residential, commercial schemes and masterplanning means he has the required skills to manage planning applications for any development.

Mislav Omazic

Town Planner

Having secured his planning degree back in 2021, Mislav began his career as an Enforcement Officer. As he nears the minimum 2 years work experience required to begin his chartership, he joined our team to assist with planning research and drafting planning statements under the guidance of our chartered town planners.

Cerys Atchinson

Chartered Town Planner

After completing her Masters in Urban and Regional Planning in 2019, Cerys gained experience in the public and private sectors. Specialising in transport planning for minor and major developments her unique skillset provides huge value to our clients and town planners by negating the need for costly and time-consuming third-party specialists.

Kat Ennis

Town Planner

With a masters degree (RTPI accredited) in MSc Urban and Regional Planning she began her career with Planning By Design. Under the supervision of our Chartered Town Planners she is also helping research and draft planning statements as she furthers her planning knowledge and skills while working towards becoming a chartered town planner.

With a strong customer service background, Kim is a highly motivated member of the team who prioritises client satisfaction. She has a strong understanding of all planning and design considerations which enables her to provide quality guidance and support to all the clients she helps.

Routh Pelekis

Accounts & Office Administratior

With a wealth of experience in accounting and office administration Routh is a huge asset to the team. She is responsible for managing the company accounts, sending quotes, invoices and together with Abi project manages to ensure that the whole team deliver on time as promised, every time.

Jon brings over 15 years of experience in the customer service and hospitality industry, with a strong focus on delivering clear communication and a positive client experience. His background has equipped him with the ability to handle a wide range of enquiries efficiently while ensuring clients feel supported at every stage.

Aisa is our artificially intelligent planning assistant and the first of her kind, at least in the planning and design industry. Currently she has the same training as our human customer service agents and can assist with any new enquiries but soon she will be able to help with much more...
