The client contacted Planning By Design regarding a proposed single storey rear extension. Following a planning appraisal with one of our chartered town planners it was determined that the project is feasible and likely to be permitted development. However, due to the site location, scale and design, Prior Approval is legally required before construction can begin. One of our chartered architects produced accurate scale drawings which the client approved. Following approval of the design, one of our chartered town planners has prepared the required planning statement, to justify why based on the relevant planning policies, the prior approval application should be approved. With the clients approval the architect drawings and planning statement were submitted with the application. Prior approval has now been granted for the single storey rear extension.
