Retrospective Garden Shed

After receiving an enforcement notice the client approached Planning By Design regarding retrospective planning permission for a garden shed that was built without the required planning permission. Following a planning appraisal with one of our chartered town planners, it was determined that retrospective planning permission was feasible and would require planning permission via the submission of a householder planning application. One of our chartered architects prepared the required architect drawings, which the client approved. Following approval of the architectural design, one of our chartered town planners prepared the required design and access statement, to justify why the planning authority should approve the application. With the client's approval, the planning application has been submitted with the architect drawings and planning statement. Retrospective planning permission has now been approved for the garden shed, which means the client will no longer need to demolish it.
