Replacement Windows and French Doors, Including Insect Screens

The client contacted Planning By Design regarding proposed replacement of the existing windows and French doors on all elevations of the flat with similar windows/ doors, which will have integrated insect screens incorporated into the design. To facilitate the incorporation of the insect screens there will be minor alterations in window type during the replacement: new windows will open inwards with a tilt and turn mechanism and with integrated insect nets installed outside. 

Following a planning appraisal with one of our chartered town planners, it was determined that the project is feasible and will require planning permission.

One of our chartered architects prepared the required architect drawings, which the client approved. Following approval of the architectural design, one of our chartered town planners prepared the required Planning Statement and Sustainable Design and Construction Statement, to justify why the council should approve the application. With the client's approval, the architect drawings, Planning Statement and Sustainable Design and Construction Statement were submitted with a full planning application.

Planning permission has now been approved for the replacement windows and French doors, including integrated insect screens.
