The client contacted Planning By Design regarding retrospective planning permission and Listed Building Consent for the relocation of a gas meter and the change of the patio material to stone slabs.
Following a planning appraisal with one of our chartered town planners it was determined that the project is feasible. As works were already completed, it would require retrospective planning permission and Listed Building Consent .
One of our chartered architects prepared the required architect drawings, which the client approved. Following approval of the design, one of our chartered town planners prepared Planning and Heritage Statement, to justify why the planning authority should grant retrospective planning permission and Listed Building Consent.
With the client's approval, a retrospective planning application was submitted with the architect drawings and Planning and Heritage Statement.
Retrospective planning permission has now been approved and Listed Building Consent granted for the relocation of a gas meter and the change of the patio material to stone slabs. This means the client will not need to restore the property to its original state and is no longer at risk of enforcement action.
