Loft Conversion, Addition of a Rear Dormer and a Hip to Gable Roof Conversion

The client approached Planning By Design regarding a proposed comprehensive enhancement of the property through the conversion of the existing loft space, the addition of a rear dormer, and a hip to gable roof conversion. This project is designed to maximize the usable living space within the home, providing a new bedroom with integrated storage and an ensuite bathroom, while maintaining the architectural integrity and character of the property.

Following a planning appraisal with one of our chartered town planners, it was determined it was feasible and requires planning permission via submission of a householder planning application.

One of our chartered architects prepared the architect drawings, which the client approved. Following approval of the architectural design, one of our chartered town planners prepared the required Planning Statement, to justify why the council should approve planning permission.

Planning Permission has now been approved for foft conversion with associated alterations to roof including a 'hip to gable' conversion and a dormer to rear.
