Conversion to Flats
ApprovedListed Building Consent

Internal Alterations to the Grade II Listed Building

The client contacted Planning By Design regarding proposed internal alterations in the flat, comprising removal of internal walls between the kitchen and reception room and between the bathroom and WC. The Property is a ground-floor flat, which is part of a four-storied Grade II Listed Building.

Following a planning appraisal with one of our chartered town planners, it was determined that the project is feasible and would require Listed Building Consent.

One of our chartered architects prepared the required architect drawings, which the client approved. Following approval of the design, one of our chartered town planners prepared Heritage Impact and Planning Statement to justify why the planning authority should grant Listed Building Consent

With the client's approval, a Listed Building Consent application was submitted with the architect's drawings, Heritage Impact and Planning Statement.

Listed Building Consent granted for the internal alterations in the flat, comprising removal of internal walls between kitchen and reception room and between bathroom and WC.
