Installation of a Projecting Box Sign on Grade II Listed Building, Located in Conservation Area

The client contacted Planning By Design regarding a proposed change of use from professional services to Japanese Restaurant under use class E (a) and (b), with associated works and signage. The site is Grade II Listed Building, located in Conservation Area.

Following a planning appraisal with one of our chartered town planners, it was determined that the project is feasible and would require full planning permission. One of our chartered architects prepared the necessary architect drawings, which the client has approved.

Following the approved architectural design, one of our chartered town planners prepared the required Planning, Design, Access Statement and Heritage Statement, to justify why the council should approve the application.

With the client's approval, the architect drawings and Planning, Design, Access Statement and Heritage Statement were submitted with a full planning application.

Planning permission has now been approved for the installation of letters at the fascia level on the north elevation and the installation of a projecting box sign.
