First-Floor Extension – Retrospective

The client approached Planning By Design regarding retrospective planning permission for a first floor extension after an enforcement notice was issued. Following a planning appraisal with one of our chartered town planners, it was determined it was feasible to secure retrospective planning permission via submission of a householder planning application. One of our chartered architects prepared the architect drawings, which the client approved. Following approval of the architectural design, one of our chartered town planners prepared the required design and access statement, to justify why the council should approve planning permission for the extension. Planning Permission has now been approved retrospectively for the first-floor extension. This means the client won't need to restore the property to its original state and is no longer at risk retrospective planning issues.
