The client contacted Planning By Design regarding a proposed development of a small-scale eco-retreat camping site with 15 pitches and the provision of a mobile welfare unit to provide toilet and shower facilities.
The land comprises 40 acres of mixed-use parcels, the camping site is 9000 m2. Other parcels within the landholding are: a clean pasture, an orchard, a wildlife pond, a newly planted woodland area a stand of mature trees. The camping pitches will be spread around the site to ensure sufficient amenity space for each pitch.
Following a planning appraisal with one of our chartered town planners, it was determined that the project is feasible and would require full planning permission. One of our chartered architects prepared the necessary architect drawings, which the client has approved.
Following the approved architectural design, one of our chartered town planners prepared the required design and access statement, to justify why the council should approve the application.
With the clients approval the architect drawings and design and access statement were submitted with a full planning application.
Planning permission has now been approved for development of a small-scale eco-retreat camping site.
