The client contacted Planning By Design regarding the proposed change of use of two apartments (C3 Use) to a hostel (C1 Use).The building is Grade II Listed and lies within the Conservation Area.
Following a planning appraisal with one of our chartered town planners, it was determined that the project is feasible would require full planning permission to change the use.
One of our chartered architects prepared the required architect drawings, which the client approved. Following approval of the design, one of our chartered town planners prepared Design and Access Statement, Heritage Impact Statement to justify why the planning authority should grant planning permission.
With the client's approval, a planning application for full planning permission was submitted with the architect's drawings, Design and Access Statement, Heritage Impact Statement.
Planning permission has now been approved and Listed Building Consent granted for the change of use of two apartments (C3 Use) to a hostel (C1 Use).
Following planning approval the client also instructed us to produce the building regulations drawings which have also been approved.
