Change of Use of the Land- Retrospective

The client contacted Planning By Design regarding regularising use of farm land which has been in use as residential garden land for more than 10 years.

Following a planning appraisal with one of our chartered town planners, it was determined that retrospective planning permission is required and advised an application for a retrospective Lawful Development Certificate

One of our chartered architects prepared the required architect drawings, which the client approved. Following the approved architectural design, one of our chartered town planners prepared the required Planning Statement/ Evidence to verify the application, to justify why the council should approve retrospective planning permission.

 Retrospective Lawful Development certificate has now been approved. Thankfully, this means the client is protected from enforcement action indefinitely.
