The client contacted Planning By Design regarding retrospective planning permission for change of use of shepherd's hut to a holiday let. The works have been done already and client seeks to regularise them.
Following a planning appraisal with one of our chartered town planners it was determined that the project is feasible. As works were already completed, it would require retrospective planning permission.
One of our chartered architects prepared the required architect drawings, which the client approved. Following approval of the design, one of our chartered town planners prepared a Supporting Statement, to justify why the planning authority should grant retrospective planning permission.
With the clients approval a retrospective planning application was submitted with the architect drawings and Supporting Statement.
Retrospective planning permission has now been approved for the change of use of shepherd's hut to a holiday let. This means the client will not need to restore the property to its original state or use and is no longer at risk of enforcement action.
