Change of Use From a Retail Unit to a Hot Food Take Away With Advertisement Signage

The client contacted Planning By Design regarding a change of use from a retail unit (use class E) to a hot food take away (sui generis), installation of extraction and ventilation equipment and advertisements to be added to the building’s exterior.

Following a planning appraisal with one of our chartered town planners, it was determined that full planning permission and Advertising Consent are required.

One of our chartered architects prepared the required architect drawings, which the client approved. Following the approved architectural design, one of our chartered town planners prepared the required Planning, Design and Access Statement and Heritage Impact Statement to justify why the council should approve planning permission.

Planning Permission has now been approved for change of use from a retail unit (use class E) to a hot food take away, installation of extraction and ventilation equipment and Advertising Consent granted.
