Alterations and Advertisement Signage on Grade II Listed Building to Facilitate the Opening of a Store

The client contacted Planning By Design regarding proposed internal and external alterations, advertisement signage, external lighting and non-illuminated signage, to facilitate the opening of a new clothing retail store. The site is a Grade II Listed Building, located in a Conservation Area.

Following a planning appraisal with one of our chartered town planners, it was determined that the project is feasible and would require full planning permission and Advertisement Consent. One of our chartered architects prepared the necessary architect drawings, which the client has approved.

Following the approved architectural design, one of our chartered town planners prepared the required Planning, Design, Access Statement and Heritage Statement, to justify why the council should approve the application.

With the client's approval, the architect drawings and Planning, Design, Access Statement and Heritage Statement were submitted.

Planning permission has now been approved, Listed Building Consent and Advertisement Consent Granted for the internal and external alterations, advertisement signage, external lighting and non-illuminated signage, to facilitate the opening of a new clothing retail store.
