The client approached Planning By Design regarding a proposed extension of the property to the rear by removing the existing conservatory and then constructing a rear extension. The existing outbuilding will then be converted in part into a games and utility room with no external changes taking place. Further, a small side extension will be constructed in front of the existing side extension which will be set back from the principal elevation.
Following a planning appraisal with one of our chartered town planners, it was determined that the project is feasible and will require planning permission via submission of a householder planning application.
One of our chartered architects prepared the architect drawings, which were approved by the client. Following approval of the architectural design, one of our chartered town planners prepared the required Design and Access Statement, to justify why the council should approve planning permission.
Planning permission has now been approved for the erection of single-storey side and rear extensions and the conversion of an existing outbuilding.
