Single-Storey Side and Rear Extension to the Property

The client approached Planning By Design regarding a proposed single-storey side, rear extension and removal of chimneys to enlarge the existing living space of the property. The development seeks to enlarge existing living space by creating an open plan living and kitchen space and adding a bedroom with an en-suite at the ground floor level. The existing living room will be converted into bedroom so in total the property will comprise 5 bedrooms.

 Following a planning appraisal with one of our chartered town planners, it was determined that the project is feasible and would require full planning permission.

One of our chartered architects prepared the architect drawings, which the client approved. Following approval of the architectural design, one of our chartered town planners prepared the required Design and Access Statement, to justify why the council should approve planning permission for the proposed extension. 

Planning Permission has now been approved for single-storey side, rear extension to the property removal of chimneys.
