The client approached Planning By Design regarding a proposed single storey rear extension, to replace the existing conservatory and to extend the kitchen/dining/siting area by 2m. Also the client seeks to extend the pitched roof at the side above the first-floor bedrooms to cover the entire width of the house to replace the current flat roof on the right-hand side of the property and to use the second floor to create an extra bedroom in the loft space.
Following a planning appraisal with one of our chartered town planners, it was determined that all components are feasible and will require planning permission via submission of a householder planning application. One of our chartered architects prepared the architect drawings, which were approved by the client.
Following approval of the architectural design, one of our chartered town planners prepared the required planning statement, to justify why the council should approve planning permission.
Planning permission has now been approved for a single storey rear extension, roof extension and alteration to dwelling.
