The client contacted Planning By Design regarding a proposed extension of the property to create a larger living space, this will include adding a second floor to the property (in the heightened loft space), as well as a rear and side extension, and internal alterations to the layout. This will result in the property becoming a six-bedroom dwellinghouse, with an open plan kitchen/ living/diner room to the rear. The proposal also includes six Velux windows being added to the property’s new dual-pitched slate tiled roof, black uPVC windows, and sliding patio doors added to the rear.
Following a planning appraisal with one of our chartered town planners, it was determined that the project is feasible and would require full planning permission. One of our chartered architects prepared the necessary architect drawings, which the client has approved.
Following the approved architectural design, one of our chartered town planners prepared the required planning, design, access statement, to justify why the council should approve the application.
With the client's approval the architect drawings and planning, design, access statement were submitted with a full planning application.
Planning permission has now been approved for side, rear and upward extensions to property.
