Side Extension and Garage Conversion

The client approached Planning By Design regarding a proposed first-floor side extension over the existing garage to create extrabedroom and bathroom, and conversion of the garage space to storage.

Following a planning appraisal with one of our chartered town planners, it was determined that the project is feasible but will require planning permission via a householder planning application.

One of our chartered architects prepared the required drawings which the client approved. Following the approved design, one of our chartered town planners prepared the necessary Design and Access Statement, to justify why the council should approve planning permission. With the client's approval, the householder planning application was submitted together with the architect drawings and Design and Access Statement.

Planning permission has now been approved for first-floor side extension over the existing garage to create extrabedroom and bathroom, and conversion of the garage space to storage.
