The client contacted Planning By Design regarding a proposed roof replacement with new roof light windows. Following a planning appraisal with one of our chartered town planners, it was determined that the project is feasible and potentially Permitted Development. An application for a lawful development was recommended, as this is the only way to get a legal determination that it is permitted development. One of our chartered architects prepared the required architect drawings, which the client approved. Following approval of the architectural design, one of our chartered town planners prepared the required planning statement, to justify why the council should approve the application. With the client's approval, the architect drawings have been submitted with an application for a Lawful Development Certificate. The Lawful Development Certificate has now been approved. We have now also completed the building regulations drawings and structural engineering calculations, which can be viewed below.
