Retrospective Single Storey Rear Extension and Skylight

The client approached Planning By Design regarding retrospective planning for a single storey rear extension and skylight after being found to be in breach of planning when trying to sell the property.

Following a planning appraisal with one of our chartered town planners, it was determined that the extension is feasible and will require planning permission via submission of a householder planning application.

One of our chartered architects prepared the architect drawings, which the client approved. Following the approved architectural design, one of our chartered town planners prepared the necessary planning and heritage statements, to justify why the council should approve planning permission.

Retrospective planning permission has now been approved so the client is no longer in breach of planning and can now sell their property.
