The client approached Planning By Design after receiving an enforcement notice for an orangery that had been built assuming it would be permitted development. Following a planning appraisal with one of our chartered town planners, it was determined that an application for a retrospective lawful development certificate would be the best way forward. One of our chartered architects prepared the required architect drawings, which the client approved. Following the approved architectural design, one of our chartered town planners prepared the required planning statement, to justify why the application should be approved. With the client's approval, the retrospective application has now been submitted together with the drawings and supporting evidence. The lawful development certificate has now been approved for the orangery.
