Retrospective Loft Conversion

The client contacted Planning By Design after receiving an enforcement notice for a loft conversion which the client thought was permitted development. Following a planning appraisal with one of our chartered town planners, it was determined that the project was feasible and would require planning permission via the submission of a retrospective householder planning application. One of our chartered architects produced the required architect drawings, which the client approved. Following the approved architectural design, one of our chartered town planners prepared the required planning statement to justify to the planning authority why the application should be approved. With the client's approval, the architect drawings and planning statement were submitted with a retrospective householder planning application. Retrospective planning permission has now been approved so the client will not need to put the property back to its original state.
