Retrospective Decking

The client contacted Planning By Design after receiving an enforcement notice for decking which they had already built. Following a planning appraisal with one of our chartered town planners, it was determined that although retrospective planning permission is required, the project was feasible. One our chartered architects prepared the necessary architect drawings, which the client approved. Following the clients approval of the architect drawings, one of our chartered town planners prepared the required planning statement to justify why the council should approve the application. With the clients approval we  submitted a retrospective householder planning application, together with the drawings and planing statement. Fortunately the application has now been approved so the client can keep the decking.
