The client approached Planning By Design after receiving an enforcement notice for a breach in planning for short term letting their property on Airbnb without planning permission. Following a planning appraisal with one of our chartered town planners, it was determined that the best course of action was to submit a retrospective full planning application. One of our chartered architects produced the required drawings, which the client approved. Following approval of the architect drawings, one of our chartered town planners prepared all the necessary supporting evidence, to justify why the application should be approved. With the clients approval everything has now been submitted with a retrospective application for full planning permission. Retrospective permission has now been approved, so the client will not need to change it back to how it was and can resume letting it again.
