Retrospective Change of Use from Outbuilding to Nail Salon

The client approached Planning By Design after receiving a planning enforcement for unlawfully changing the use of an outbuilding to a nail salon. Following a planning appraisal with one of our chartered town planners, it was determined that retrospective planning permission for the change of use was feasible.. One of our chartered architects produced the required drawings, which the client approved. Following approval of the drawings, one of our chartered town planners prepared the required planning, design and access statement, to justify why the application should be approved. With the clients approval everything was now been submitted with a retrospective application for full planning permission. Retrospecitve planning permission has now been approved to change the use of the outbuilding to a nail salon, which means the client can resume operating their business and will no longer need to restore the property to its original state.
