After receiving a planning enforcement notice the client contacted Planning By Design regarding a retrospective change of use from a warehouse (Class E and B8) to a place of worship (Class F1). Following a planning appraisal with one of our chartered town planners, it was determined that the retrospective change of use to a place of worship was feasible via a full planning application. One of our chartered architects prepared the required architect drawings, which the client has approved. Following the approved architectural design, one of our chartered town planners prepared the required planning statement, to justify why the council should approve the application. With the clients approval the drawings and planning statement were submitted with the planning application. Retrospective planning permission has now been approved for the change of use from a warehouse to a place of worship. This means the client can resume using it as a place of worship and is protected from any further retrospective planning issues indefinitely.
