Retention of Boundary Fence – Retrospective

The client contacted Planning By Design regarding retrospective planning permission for retention of a boundary fence.

Following a planning appraisal with one of our chartered town planners it was determined retrospective planning permission for the fence was feasible via the submission of a householder planning application.

One of our chartered architects produced the required architect drawings, which the client approved. Following approval of the architectural design, one of our chartered town planners prepared the required Design and Access Statement, to justify to the planning authority why the application should be approved. With the client's approval, the architect drawings and Design and Access Statement were submitted with a retrospective householder planning application.

Planning permission has now been approved for the retention of a boundary fence which means the client will not be required to remove the fence and is no longer at risk of enforcement action.
