The client contacted Planning By Design regarding the repositioning and upgrade of an existing solar energy system located on the roof of a single-storey extension.
Following a planning appraisal with one of our chartered town planners, it was determined that the project was feasible and would require full householder planning permission.
One of our chartered architects prepared the required architectural drawings, which the client approved. Following approval of the design, one of our chartered town planners prepared a Design and Access Statement, Heritage Statement and Sustainable Design and Construction Statement to demonstrate that the proposal complied with the relevant national and local planning policies.
With the client’s approval, a full householder planning application was submitted with the architectural drawings and supporting documents.
Full planning permission for the repositioning and upgrade of the existing solar energy system has now been granted.
