Replacement Crittall Doors Within a Conservation Area

The client contacted Planning By Design regarding a proposed replacement french doors with crittall doors for a ground floor flat within a conservation area. Following a planning appraisal with one of our chartered town planners, it was determined that the project is feasible and would require planning permission via the submission of a householder planning application, as flats do not have permitted development rights. One of our chartered architects produced the required architect drawings, which the client approved. Following the approved architectural design, one of our chartered town planners prepared the required planning and heritage statement, to justify why the planning application should be approved by the planning authority. Planning permission has now been approved to replace the french doors with crittall doors.
