Planning Appeal for a Change of Use From Dwellinghouse (C3) to (C2) for a Mother and Baby Unit/Home Assessment Centre and Garage Conversion

The client approached Planning By Design after planning permission was refused for change of use from dwellinghouse (C3) to (C2) for a mother and baby unit/home assessment centre and conversion of garage into a habitable room.

Following a planning appraisal with one of our chartered town planners, it was determined that project is feasible and therefore the decision should be appealed.

One of our chartered architects prepared the architect drawings, which the client approved. Following the approved architectural design, one of our chartered town planners prepared the Statement of Case, to justify why the appeal should be approved.

The appeal has now been approved and planning permission granted for change of use from dwellinghouse (C3) to (C2) for a mother and baby unit/home assessment centre and conversion of garage into a habitable room.
