The client contacted Planning By Design regarding a proposed loft conversion. A loft conversion will include the installation of the dormer at the back of the property. This will create an additional bedroom in the loft space.
Following a planning appraisal with one of our chartered town planners it was determined that the project was feasible and potentially permitted development via the submission of an application for a Lawful Development Certificate.
One of our chartered architects produced the required architect drawings, which the client approved. Following the approved design, one of our chartered town planners prepared the required Supporting Statement, to justify to the planning authority why the application should be approved. With the clients approval the architect drawings and Supporting Statement were submitted with a Lawful Development Certificate application.
The Lawful Development Certificate for a loft conversion has now been approved.
