The client contacted Planning By Design regarding a proposed loft conversion. Following a planning appraisal with one of our chartered town planners it was determined that the project was feasible and potentially Permitted Development so an application for a Lawful Development Certificate was advised as this is the only way to obtain a legal determination that planning permission is not required. One of our chartered architects produced the required architect drawings, which the client approved. Following the approved design, one of our chartered town planners prepared the required planning statement to justify to the planning authority why the application should be approved. With the clients approval the architect drawings and planning statement were submitted with a householder planning application. The application for a Lawful Development Certificate has now been approved.
