ApprovedListed Building Consent

Internal Alterations in a Category B-listed Victorian Building in a Conservation Area

The client contacted Planning By Design regarding a proposed expansion of and alterations to en-suite bathroom. The property is a category B-listed Victorian building and is located within a Conservation Area.

Following a planning appraisal with one of our chartered town planners it was determined that the project is feasible and could be permitted development via the submission of a Listed Building Consent Application.

One of our chartered architects produced accurate scale drawings which the client approved. Following approval of the architectural design, one of our chartered town planners has prepared the required Planning statement and Heritage Impact Statement, to justify why the application should be approved. The architect drawings, Planning statement and Heritage Impact Statement were submitted with the application.

Planning Permission has now been approved for the expansion of and alterations to en-suite bathroom in a category B-listed Victorian building, located within a Conservation Area.
