The client contacted Planning By Design regarding proposed replacement of the existing ground floor window on the rear elevation of the property with three sliding doors, which will open into the side-return rear garden. The property is Victorian double-storey dwellinghouse, located within the Conservation Area.
Following a planning appraisal with one of our chartered town planners, it was determined that the project is feasible and will require planning permission.
One of our chartered architects prepared the required architect drawings, which the client approved. Following approval of the architectural design, one of our chartered town planners prepared the required planning and heritage statement, to justify why the council should approve the application. With the client's approval, the architect drawings and planning and heritage statement have been submitted.
Planning permission has now been approved for the installation of sliding doors to rear of the property, located within the Conservation Area.
