Installation of a Rooflight

The client contacted Planning By Design regarding proposed development of the installation of a rooflight to the rear roof elevation. The proposed Velux window is to provide a comfortable space for storage and recreation.

Following a planning appraisal with one of our chartered town planners, it was determined that the project is feasible but will require planning permission via the submission of a household planning application. One of our chartered architects prepared the required architect drawings, which the client approved.

Following approval of the architectural design, one of our chartered town planners prepared the required planning statement, to justify why the council should approve the application. With the client's approval, the architect drawings have been submitted with a householder planning application.

Planning permission has now been approved for the installation of a rooflight to the rear roof elevation.
