Front Garden Wall – Retrospective

The client contacted Planning By Design regarding retrospective planning permission to regularise an existing pre constructed grey front garden wall after receiving an enforcement notice.

Following a planning appraisal with one of our chartered town planners, it was determined that the project was feasible and would require retrospective planning permission via a householder planning application.

One of our chartered architects produced the required architect drawings, which the client approved. Following the approved architectural design, one of our chartered town planners prepared the required design and access statement, to justify to the planning authority why the application should be approved. With the clients approval the retrospective householder planning application was submitted together with the architect drawings and design and access statement.

The retrospective planning application has now been approved, which means the client will not be required to demolish the front garden wall and now is protected from retrospective planning issues indefinietly.
