First – Floor Side Extension to Create an Office Room

The client approached Planning By Design regarding a proposed first-floor side extension to create an office/study room. The proposed first-floor extension is intented to be built above the converted garage.

Following a planning appraisal with one of our chartered town planners, it was determined that the proposed first-floor side extension was feasible and will require planning permission via submission of a householder planning application.

One of our chartered architects prepared the architect drawings, which were approved by the client. Following approval of the architectural design, one of our chartered town planners prepared the required design and access statement, to justify why the council should approve planning permission.

Planning permission has now been approved for the erection of a first-floor side extension to create an office/study room.
