The client contacted Planning By Design regarding retrospective planning permission for a fence and gate after a failed DIY planning application. Following a planning appraisal with one of our chartered town planners it was determined retrospective planning permission for the fence was feasible via the submission of a householder planning application.
One of our chartered architects produced the required architect drawings, which the client approved. Following approval of the architectural design, one of our chartered town planners prepared the required planning statement, to justify to the planning authority why the application should be approved. With the client's approval, the architect drawings and planning statements were submitted with a retrospective householder planning application.
Planning permission has now been approved for the fence and gate which means the client will now not be required to removed the fence and is no longer be at risk of enforcement action.
