Fence and Gate – Retrospective

The client contacted Planning By Design regarding retrospective planning permission for fence and gate (increased height).

Following a planning appraisal with one of our chartered town planners, it was determined that the project was feasible and would require retrospective planning permission.

One of our chartered architects produced the required architect drawings, which the client approved. Following approval of the architectural design, one of our chartered town planners prepared the required Planning Statement, to justify to the planning authority why the application should be approved.

With the client's approval, the architect drawings and Planning Statement were submitted with a retrospective planning application.

The retrospective planning application has now been approved, which means the client will not be required to demolish existing fence and gate and now is protected from retrospective planning issues indefinitely.
