Extension to an Existing Gravel Area on Agricultural Land-Retrospective

The client contacted Planning By Design regarding retrospective planning permission for an extension to an existing gravel area on agricultural land, after receiving an enforcement notice.

Following a planning appraisal with one of our chartered town planners, it was determined that the project was feasible and would require retrospective planning permission.

One of our chartered architects produced the required architect drawings, which the client approved. Following approval of the architectural design, one of our chartered town planners prepared the required Design and Access Statement, to justify to the planning authority why the retrospective application should be approved.

With the client's approval, the architect drawings and Design and Access Statement were submitted.

The retrospective planning application for extension to an existing gravel area on agricultural land has now been approved, which means the client now is protected from retrospective planning issues indefinitely.
