Erection of Two-Storey Side Extension to Dwellinghouse

The client approached Planning By Design regarding a proposed erection of two-storey side extension to dwellinghouse. On the ground floor, there will be a new kitchen in the extended area with French doors providing access the rear garden, as well as a new stair case leading to the first floor. The first floor will consist of a family bathroom, study/bedroom, ensuite bathroom, and landing, with an attic space occupying the second floor.

Following a planning appraisal with one of our chartered town planners, it was determined that the two-storey side extension was feasible and will require full planning permission.

One of our chartered architects prepared the architect drawings, which the client approved. Following approval of the architectural design, one of our chartered town planners prepared the required planning statement, to justify why the council should approve planning permission for the proposed extension.

Planning Permission has now been approved for the erection of two-storey side extension to dwellinghouse.
