Erection of Single Storey Rear Extension in Area of Special Village Character and Local Landscape Value

The client approached Planning By Design regarding the proposed double-storey rear extension. The property is situated within an Area of Special Village Character and Local Landscape Value.

Following a planning appraisal with one of our chartered town planners, it was determined that the extension is feasible and would require planning permission via the submission of a householder planning application.

One of our chartered architects prepared the architect drawings, which the client approved. Following approval of the architectural design, one of our chartered town planners prepared the required Planning, Design and Access Statement, to justify why the council should approve planning permission for the proposed extension.

Planning Permission has now been approved for the double-storey rear extension.
