Erection of a New Self-Build Dwellinghouse in the Green Belt

The client contacted Planning By Design regarding the removal of an existing log cabin and the erection of a new self-build bungalow-style dwelling, including associated vehicle access. The proposed development comprises a single-storey, three-bedroom home, with a driveway within the front curtilage to provide parking. The site is located within the Green Belt.

Following a planning appraisal with one of our chartered town planners, it was determined that the project was feasible and the best course of action was an application for full planning permission.

One of our chartered architects prepared the architect drawings, which were approved by the client. Following approval of the architectural design, one of our chartered town planners prepared the required Planning Statement to justify the council's approval of planning permission.

With the client's approval, the architect drawings and Planning Statement were submitted with an application for full planning permission.

Planning Permission has now been approved for the erection of one new self-build bungalow-style dwelling located within the Green Belt.
