The client contacted Planning By Design regarding a proposed dropped kerb. Following a planning appraisal with one of our chartered town planners, it was determined the project was feasible and likely to be considered permitted development. In order to obtain a legal determination that is permitted development, we advised submitting an application for a Lawful Development Certificate. One of our chartered architects prepared all of the required architect drawings which the client has approved. Following the approved architect drawings, one of our chartered town planners prepared the required planning statement, to justify why the planning authority should approve the application. With the clients approval the application has been submitted together with the drawings and supporting evidence. The Lawful Development Certificate for the dropped kerb has now been approved.
