Dropped Kerb For The Flat

The client approached Planning By Design regarding a proposed formation of a dropped kerb for the flat, to allow vehicular access for the dwelling’s residents to park within the properties front garden. The site already benefits from an existing hard surfaced front garden which is permeable block paving suitable for parking of a one car.

Following a planning appraisal with one of our chartered town planners, it was determined the project is feasible but would require planning permission via the submission of a householder planning application.

One of our chartered architects prepared all of the required architect drawings, which the client approved. Following the approved architectural design, one of our chartered town planners prepared the required Design and Access Statement, to justify why the planning authority should approve the application. With the client's approval, the application has now been submitted together with the drawings and Design and Access statement.

The planning application has now been approved for the formation of a dropped kerb for the flat, to allow vehicular access for the dwelling’s residents to park within the properties front garden.
