The client approached Planning By Design regarding the removal of the existing front garden fence around the soft landscaped garden area, and the conversion of the existing front garden area to a permeable driveway. The hard surface will then cover the entire front garden area. This will allow to install an EV charger for an electric car to the front of the house.
Following a planning appraisal with one of our chartered town planners, it was determined the project is feasible but would require planning permission via the submission of a householder planning application.
One of our chartered architects prepared the required architect drawings, which the client approved. Following the approved drawings, one of our chartered town planners prepared the required heritage and planning statement, to justify why the council should approve the planning application. With the clients approval the planning application has been submitted, together with the drawings and heritage and planning statement.
Planning Permission has now been approved for the removal of the fence and conversion of the garden to a driveway to facilitate the installation of an electric vehicle.
