Double Glazed Windows In a Conservation Area

The client contacted Planning By Design regarding proposed replacement double glazed windows for a flat within a conservation area. Following a planning appraisal with one of our chartered town planners, it was determined that the project is feasible and will require planning permission via the submission of a householder planning application becuase flats do not have permitted development rights. One of our chartered architects prepared the required architect drawings, which the client approved. Following approval of the architectural design, one of our chartered town planners prepared the required planning and heritage statement, to justify why the council should approve the application. With the client's approval, the architect drawings, planning and heritage statement were submitted with a householder planning application.  Planning permission has now been approved for the replacement double glazed windows.
